Thank you to all my visitors and readers who stop by and leave comments despite my loooong absence.
One important lesson I learned from our trip was ALWAYS bring extra batteries for the camera! I was so silly NOT to bring any extras. This was our first family vacation and I did not even think of buying an extra battery pack for the camera. Halfway through the day, the battery was already drained. So we had to use the cellphone camera instead.
I have FINALLY finished sorting the pictures from our mini-vacation. Allow me to share them with you. Some were taken using Nikon Coolpix and some with Nokia E51.
Victoria Peak, Hong Kong
On the way to the Peak Tram Terminus. We just walked from the Central Station to the terminus and we got a little disoriented and lost.
After a scenic route through Hong Kong Park, we made it to the terminus.
Photos taken from the Sky Terrace at Victoria Peak. Leelai and Papa Wins enjoyed looking thru the large binoculars (?) wherein you drop HK$5 to be able to see.
It was glaring so we were squinting alot.
Liam's first time to stand on his own for over 30 seconds. A momentous event at a special location!

It's not too often I can say on a travel blog that I've been there, but I have been here in Hong Kong!
I've also learned on the extra batteries. For our trip last month to London, we got a new camera with a rechargeable battery. It was nice because we could recharge it every night at the hotel.

I plan to take the Peak Tram up to Victoria Peak in Hong Kong but would like to just take a bus going down. I read somewhere that there are buses that go directly to Central from Victoria Peak. Would anyone know how much is the bus fare for this? Thank you so much!

Peak are the minutes between the hours 6am-9pm this means this is what u have used out of your monthly air time allowance whether it is 300 minutes or 1000 this includes making and receiving calls to anyone not on a verizon network...Thanks....
