Ruby Tuesday: I Heart You

heart button

This is my second entry for Ruby Tuesday. It is late but still in time for a Valentine theme, I hope. :)

We bought Baby Liam a toy walker for Christmas. The heart is one of the buttons on it. When pressed, it plays tune.

Liam plays with walker

Liam loved to play with the thingymajigies on it when it was new. But two months later, he is already bored with them. We still let him use it as a walker, though. And he likes pushing it while we cheer him on.

I hope you have a Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

I noticed that our one year old will ignore toys for months and then we'll pull it out from the bottom of the toy box after being buried and it's like a whole new toy for him.

My youngest cousin has toys like that. He would make sooo much noise with them. But just like you say, two months later..he never used it again.

They just made an upgrade on Blogger Following, Google Friends Connect are now being integrated to it. I have been using both features. To prevent any public humiliation on the users, Google set the settings of Blogger following to private. If you have noticed that I am not following you, I already fixed the followers issue.

I hope that it will not affect our blogging relationship.
Have a nice day!

That happens with us a lot too, after awhile the toy is not interesting anymore. Good that you can still use it as a walker though!

I'm kind of not surprised he's getting bored with the buttons and dials! At the rate little toddlers like him are absorbing information, they need constant interaction and discovery to develop sufficiently. He's a cutie, by the way :)

We tried an interesting thing with our new baby. We decided to not buy any toys with batteries for him, and he was quite happy until his first birthday when he received a few battery operated toys for his birthday. They became his new favorites!

He is adorable. My little one is impossible to keep occupied for very long. I am impressed that he has been interested this long.
