Gab-gab (Gabriel) will be turning two in a few days and he will be having a birthday party on Sunday. The party will not be held at McDonald's as was originally planned. Instead, it will be at the Grandparents' garden in Pangi. We hope it will not rain that day. It rained today the entire day. And the weather forecast for Sunday doesn't look good.
Whatever the weather may be, the party will hopefully push thru. Now, what gift should we buy for little Gabe? I told Leelai (4yo) to ask Gabe's kuya R2 (6yo) for suggestions. Do you know what he said? He said, "Gabe wants a Bedaman toy." Who or What is that?! I have absolutely no idea. And, I am afraid to find out because it might be an expensive toy. Our budget for birthday presents is 500 pesos. So, I told Leelai to ask R2 for another suggestion and he said, "How about a water gun?"
That sound more familiar to me. But I am having second thoughts. Imagine if the kids get hold of a loaded water gun in the house! Imagine the mess!
Toy cars? Kuya R2 has a lot already. His Dad already started collecting Matchbox cars even when R2 was still a baby.
Robots? Dinosaurs? Books? Been there, gave that! :)
How come it is so hard to shop for boys? If you asked me to buy a gift for a little girl, I could buy one in a snap.
I have two more days to go shopping for Gab-gab's present. Ideas, anyone?

What's his favorite show on TV? Try using that as an inspirations for your gift... and don't worry any gift that you give him will be something that he will like.. i don't know about the gun thing either... his favorite show is still your best bet though..
