I know, I know...the paedia recommended that we wait until Liam is 6 months old. But everytime we eat at the table, Liam kept watching us with a hungry look in his eyes.
And so, a few days short of his 6 month birthday, Liam has finally tasted his first solid food. Everything has been prepared two months ago -- the spoon, the bowl and the food. When the time came to eat, everything was set...even the camera.

...his face turned sour. Uh-oh, I don't think he likes it. I opened Gerber's 1st Foods Banana for him.
But wait, is he asking for more? I guess so...
I only gave him about a tablespoon of baby food for his first time. If he doesn't get any allergies, I will increase the serving to two tablespoons the next time.
It was a very messy experience for the three of us. I wanted Leelai to take the pictures but she said she was busy...(she was eating lunch, too!) So, I had to hold the camera in one hand and the spoon in another. I also had to keep Liam's hand away from his mouth. He wanted something in his mouth ALL THE TIME. If the spoon wasn't in it, it was either his hand or the high chair tray!
Oh well, I am looking forward to more messy mealtimes...not. LOL!

Adorable baby! I remember when my children were babies. Gosh, I miss finding them baby food. It was so much fun for the both of us.
