Chow mange and an online dog spa

Boogie (the Chow) has mange again! The vet visited him last week to give him his shots. According to Mama, his skin seemed even worse than BEFORE he was given medication.

Poor Boogie...He is still staying outside the house and he looks really bad. Because of his situation, I don't think he will ever be allowed inside the house anymore. Tati the Pug is inside and I hope she won't get mange, too. I'm a bit worried because she keeps scratching her back on the chairs and tables. No signs of mange yet though.

As for Boogie, the worst parts are on his face and front legs. But he keeps scratching all over. I looked online for a dog itchy skin remedy to help reduce the itching and found a site selling cool dog products.

It sells all-natural spa products that dogs and dog lovers would find really useful. Aside from dog shampoo, they also have other useful remedies for problems such as bad breath, fleas, and coat problems.

They even have something for the hyperactive dog. If only Vader (the toy poodle) was still around...the tonic for anxious dogs would have been very useful for him. Especially when he was being groomed. He was a very angry dog!

I also learned something about dog tear stains from the site. Pearly (the toy poodle) had terrible tear stains her entire life. I thought it was a natural occurence in Poodles and something that couldn't be helped. I was wrong. I learned that these stains were caused by a bacteria. Cleaning the eye area and trimming the red coat doesn't totally remove the stain. The bacteria (causing the redness) has to be eradicated from the dogs system or else the new fur would still be red.

Anyway, back to Boogie's problem...I'll be going to Pangi tomorrow and will be checking up on him. I hope he has improved since I saw him four days ago.

A dog of any breed will need grooming to look and feel her best. Grooming your dog appropriately may take a few minutes to quite a few hours each week, depending on breed and coat type.

Sacoptic mange is caused by a teeny little mite, called Sarcoptes.I thought inherited mange was something they usually get over as their immune system matures. We do not accept aggressive animals for any type of grooming services at our shop. We could advise you to take it to the vet, where they are better equips to deal with untrained animals.
