Rhinitis - now a family affair

It is a known fact in the family that Papa Wins is prone to rhinitis. (I would know when he is having an attack because his sneezing wakes me up in the morning and keeps me up at night. Also, we ran out of tissues faster than usual.) And it isn't just during the pollen season. Attacks happen anytime of the year. It has been a while since his last attack - months, I think.

But, sadly, it is back. And I think Leelai has it, too. I thought it was just colds with Leelai. But I noticed that it comes and goes. The past two nights were the worst. She wakes up in the middle of the night and cries -- thus waking up Liam and make him cry, too. It was terrible. I had to give her two doses of phenylpropanolamine (Disudrin) just so she could sleep soundly the second night.

I noticed, however, that during the daytime, her colds disappear. I think it is the dust in the airconditioning that aggravates Leelai's (and Papa's) colds.  I have to check out EcoQuest and possible air filter solutions. I probably also have to have the aircon unit cleaned this month. Later!

Rhinitis commonly known as a stuffy nose, is the medical term describing irritation and inflammation of some internal areas of the nose.

Is a very good article, so I feel good for so little. Hope to see you more than the article!
